Safety organization
measures safety performance and analyses risk across the Northern Railway
network. The team builds an understanding of the overall risk profile, helps
identify hazardous events and precursors, identifies emerging trends or
issues and provides information to help Members and staff in their safety
planning. The team’s work underpins many of Safety organization's other
activities on behalf of the railway and provides input into the development
and implementation of common safety methods and targets. Safety organization
sensitize all concerned on Safety related issues, oversee all Safety matters,
identify Safety related Susceptibilities and Vulnerabilities, establish
effective response mechanism to handle situations arising out of untoward
incidents and enable the concerned
departments to Deliver. |
